I wish to thank you for talking with me today, Mrs. Bacchiocchi.
May God comfort you and your family in the loss of your husband. May the Lord guide you and your family in your quest to obey and please Him while you continue in your studies of the Gospel.

Thankyou!

Dennis,

There is a consensus statement from the congress on this link:

http://adventist.org.au/about_adventists/beliefs/consensus_statement_on_the_trinity

I hope it answers your question.

I am curious what part of Trinitarianism was affirmed at this congress. Did they actually renounce and apologize for their previous aberrant views (Arianism and Tritheism) of our Triune God?

Hey Damien,

The Web software the church has approved is a modified version of the Open Source (as in free) software Joomla.

Joomla is distributed with basic functionality and it can be made more useful by adding modules, and themes. For whatever reasons, the church software has limited these aspects of the software, in that you cannot install modules or themes other than what they provide, at least not in an easy way (if at all?).

I have used Joomla before and in many ways it is an overkill, IMHO, for the needs that most churches have.

Why is it that a "million dollar" Content Management System has no more functionality and looks like crap compared to a back yard job designed by someone I know in their spare time???

Finally! I've been waiting for this for a long time. Hopefully, it will stop most of those annoying telemarketers.

It interesting to note that it will NOT stop charities or religious organisations from making calls.

Well done Ben. Life is somewhat hectic for a couple more weeks as I am sure it is for others. Look forward to supporting each other in this environment.

This truly is disgusting but I am glad that the offenders are being prosecuted, I also want to thank you for the suggestion that we concentrate our prays on those who are being persecuted, so often we can forget what its like in the rest of the world and this is a horrible reminder that we while we live in a free country others do not, let us not take our moments for granted but use them to share God ! Oh that he may soon come and end all this suffering !!!
